HPE Education Learning Credits FAQ

HPE Education Learning Credits can be used for any training course or service provided through HPE Education Services. Course offerings can be found at <a href="https://hpe.com/ww/learn" style="color: #000;text-decoration:underline #01A982;">hpe.com/ww/learn</a>. HPE Education Learning Credits can also be redeemed for HPE Right Start Knowledge Bundles, and HPE Digital Learner subscriptions. Aruba training is excluded. You can only redeem HPE Education Learning Credits for eligible courses delivered in the same country as your HPE Education Learning Credits purchase, or those that are delivered as virtual instructor-led training (VILT). Your HPE Education Learning Credits Agreement will always start with HPEUXXXX. The number of credits required for each offering is available on the registration page. The number of required credits is also available on course data sheet, viewable by clicking on a course title.

What are HPE Education Learning Credits?

Yes. The start date of the class selected may fall after your HPE Education Learning Credits' expiration date, but you must complete the registration for that course prior to the expiration date. Reschedules are not allowed after your HPE Education Learning Credit Agreement has expired.

Can I register for a class starting after the expiration date of my HPE Education Learning Credits?

You can obtain assistance from your local <a href="https://education.hpe.com/ww/en/training/contactus.html" style="color: #000;text-decoration:underline #01A982;">HPE Education Services representative</a> or your authorized HPE reseller.

Who can I contact to assist with other questions about my HPE Education Learning Credits, such as lost PIN number?

Please contact your local <a href="https://education.hpe.com/ww/en/training/contactus.html" style="color: #000;text-decoration:underline #01A982;">HPE Education Services representative</a> or your authorized HPE reseller to update the contact. Please provide the new contact information as well as the HPE Education Learning Credits Key. A welcome letter will be resent to the new point of contact.

How can I change the contact info on an existing HPE Education Learning Credit Agreement?

To purchase HPE Education Learning Credits, please contact your local <a href="https://education.hpe.com/ww/en/training/contactus.html" style="color: #000;text-decoration:underline #01A982;">HPE Education Services representative</a> or your authorized HPE reseller.

How do I buy HPE Education Learning Credits?

HPE Education Learning Credits can only be used for training provided by HPE Education Services. Aruba training is excluded. In addition, HPE Education Learning Credits cannot be used for industry events or training services provided by other HPE organizations, including HPE Management of Change Services and <a href="https://www.myroom.hpe.com/" target="_blank" style="color: #000;text-decoration:underline #01A982;">HPE MyRoom</a>/<a href="https://www.myroom.hpe.com/vrg" target="_blank" style="color: #000;text-decoration:underline #01A982;">VRG</a>.

Are there any exceptions to use HPE Education Learning Credits?

Yes, "refills" can be purchased any time during the 12-month duration the learning agreement; however, those funds are subject to the same expiration date as the original agreement.

Can HPE Education Learning Credits be refilled?

Yes, as long as they have your permission, someone other than the person named as the owner can use the HPE Education Learning Credits. However, it is not advisable to share your HPE Education Learning Credits account with anyone you have not given approval.

Can someone other than me use my HPE Education Learning Credits?

No problem, there are several options to consider. With HPE Education Learning Credits you can "refill" your account with additional funds (a minimum purchase amount is required). Or, if you have multiple HPE Education Learning Credits Agreements, you may want to use funding from a second account to cover the remaining balance. Another option is to provide a different method of payment such as a credit card or PO to cover the balance. Note: if additional funds are added to your existing HPE Education Learning Credits Agreement, they are subject to the same terms and expiration date as the original Agreement.

What if I don't have enough HPE Education Learning Credits for the course I want to take?

No. Each HPE Education Learning Credits account has a unique key depending on the details of the order and cannot be combined into one account. However, credits from different accounts can be combined to pay for one registration if necessary.

Can I combine HPE Education Learning Credits accounts?

No. HPE Education Learning Credits can only be used in the country of purchase.

Can I use HPE Education Learning Credits across different countries?

Once the Agreement has been set up, an HPE Education Learning Credits welcome letter is sent to the person named as the owner or administrator. (Note that HPE Education Learning Credits ordered with HPE hardware will not be set up until the HPE hardware ships.) It is very important that the person who will monitor the usage of the account is named (along with a phone number and email) when the HPE Education Learning Credits order is placed. Try to avoid providing the accounting office, for example, or a generic email address as the point of contact—this only causes confusion when we try to contact the actual account owner. If you are expecting an HPE Education Learning Credits welcome letter, please check with the person who placed the order.

How do I know when my HPE Education Learning Credits Agreement is set up?

Please review our <a href="https://education.hpe.com/ww/en/training/contactus.html" style="color: #000;text-decoration:underline #01A982;">Terms and Conditions</a> for information on our cancellation policy.

What if I have to cancel my class? What if HPE cancels the class?

Customers should receive an HPE Education Learning Credits welcome letter which will provide details such as how to use and how to access account balances and usage. The welcome letter will contain the following details of your HPE Education Learning Credits Agreement: <ul><li>Purchase Order Number</li><li># HPE Education Learning Credits purchased</li><li>Expiration date</li><li>HPE Education Learning Credits Key / Unit Agreement Key (HPEUxxxxx) [-or- Monetary Agreement Key (HPEMxxxxx)]</li><li>Access PIN</li></ul>

How do I find the details of my HPE Education Learning Credits agreement?

If you haven't received a welcome letter, contact your local <a href="https://education.hpe.com/ww/en/training/contactus.html" style="color: #000;text-decoration:underline #01A982;">HPE Education Services representative</a> or authorized HPE reseller. To help us look up your information, please be prepared to provide information related to your agreement (such as the purchase order number or HPE sales order number, company name, and specifics of your purchase).

What if I did not receive a welcome letter?

Customers will receive an HPE Education Learning Credits welcome letter that provides details on how to access account balances, including usage. To access your HPE Education Learning Credits account follow the steps below. <ol><li>Go to the <a href="https://education.hpe.com/ww/en/training/misc/legacy/nc_credits.html" style="color: #000;text-decoration:underline #01A982;">HPE Education Learning Credits balance</a> page.</li><li>Enter your HPE Education Learning Credits Agreement Number (HPEMxxxxx or HPEUxxxxx) and Access PIN code in the appropriate fields.</li><li>Click "Check HPE Education Learning Credits/Agreement balance" to view results.</li></ol> You will see an online report showing your account balance and all transactions that have been posted against your account. Account information is updated within 24 hours.

How do I check the balance of my HPE Education Learning Credits Agreement?

HPE Education Learning Credits work like a prepaid credit card. They can be used to pay for training offered by HPE Education Services, including <a href="ilt-vilt.html" style="color: #000;text-decoration:underline #01A982;">virtual instructor-led training (VILT)</a>, <a href="elearning.html" style="color: #000;text-decoration:underline #01A982;">eLearning</a> courses, <a href="https://education.hpe.com/ww/en/training/right-start-knowledge.html" style="color: #000;text-decoration:underline #01A982;">HPE Right Start Knowledge Bundles</a>, <a href="ilt-vilt.html" style="color: #000;text-decoration:underline #01A982;">onsite instructor-led training (ILT)</a>, and <a href="https://education.hpe.com/ww/en/training/partner.html" style="color: #000;text-decoration:underline #01A982;">HPE Partner Ready certification training</a>. How do I use my HPE Education Learning Credits?

You can search for courses by <a href="index.html#HomePortfolioList" style="color: #000;text-decoration:underline #01A982;">technology topic or brand</a>. In addition, you can view the <a href="schedule.html" style="color: #000;text-decoration:underline #01A982;">course schedule</a> to see the most up-to-date course listing.

Where do I find qualifying training courses and course information?

Yes. Most HPE Education Learning Credits Agreements have a 12-month term. Your Agreement expiration date is included in the welcome letter/email sent to the named contact person. Any funds remaining in the HPE Education Learning Credits Agreement at the expiration date are forfeited. The HPE Education Credits Agreement cannot legally be extended.

Do HPE Education Learning Credits expire?

No. The term of your HPE Education Learning Credits Agreement is part of a contract, and HPE legal and audit requirements do not allow an extension. See the following question about how to register for courses that begin after your expiration date.

HPE Knowledge Club is currently available in multiple countries.

Is HPE Knowledge Club available in my country?

Points earned by a member will remain with the member even if they change employers. You may need to update your email on the My Info page in your Rewards account.

I will begin working for a new company. Can I keep the points that I have earned to date?

Points may not be transferred from one member to another. HPE Knowledge Club points are only earned by and will only be deposited into the account associated with the member who completes a qualifying course.

Can I combine my points with another HPE Knowledge Club Member?

Ensure you have enough points in your account balance to be able to redeem a reward. Occasionally rewards are temporarily out of stock. In that case, choose a different reward or check back later.

Why can't I select a reward?

HPE Knowledge Club points can only be earned by completing qualifying courses with HPE Education Services.

I do not have enough points to redeem a reward. Is it possible to purchase points in order to get to a reward level?

Using your Reward Link is easy! Just follow these steps:
 <ul>
 <li>Click the Reward Link provided to you within the reward email you received.</li>
 <li>Choose the reward(s) you want. You can select multiple rewards up to your available balance.</li>
 <li>Select the value of each reward. You can manually enter a dollar amount or choose from the pre-selected drop-down menu. Note: You can't choose an amount that exceeds your remaining balance.</li>
 <li>Select "Add to Cart".</li>
 <li>Once you've selected the reward(s) you want, click "Checkout" or "Add to Cart".</li>
 <li>Verify your name and your email address and check the box acknowledging the terms. Be sure your email address is correct.</li>
 <li>Click "Complete My Order".</li>
 <li>Check your inbox. Your gift cards will be sent to the email you confirmed.</li>
 </ul>

How do I use my Reward Link® to redeem points for gift cards?

Once logged in to your Rewards account, click the "My Info" tab at the top of the page and edit your information as needed.

How do I update my HPE Knowledge Club account information?

I have a question that wasn't answered here. How can I contact you?

You will receive an e-mail with a link to join the HPE Knowledge Club the week following your completion of a qualifying course with HPE Education Services.

How do I sign up for the HPE Knowledge Club?

HPE Knowledge Club qualifying courses include <a href="ilt-vilt.html" style="color:#000;text-decoration:underline #00B388;">virtual instructor-led training (VILT)</a> and <a href="ilt-vilt.html" style="color:#000;text-decoration:underline #00B388;">instructor-led training (ILT)</a> courses which are a minimum of one day in length with schedules available on the HPE Education Services website. <a href="schedule.html" style="color:#000;text-decoration:underline #00B388;">View the schedule of qualifying courses</a>. Private training deliveries of qualifying courses will also earn points for attending students. The following exclusions apply: <ul style="margin: 10px 0;"><li>Free courses are excluded.</li><li>HPE Digital Learner subscriptions are excluded. You will earn points for qualifying VILT courses taken as part of an HPE Digital Learner Gold subscription.</li><li>Self-paced eLearning courses are excluded.</li><li>Courses offered by Aruba Education are excluded.</li></ul>Some additional exclusions may apply. HPE reserves the right to adjust the list of qualifying courses at any time. Contact the <a href="https://education.hpe.com/ww/en/training/contactus.html" style="color:#000;text-decoration:underline #00B388;">HPE Knowledge Club</a> if you have additional questions.

Which qualifying courses earn points?

HPE Employees are not eligible to participate.

Are HPE employees eligible to participate in the HPE Knowledge Club?

HPE Knowledge Club points expire 3 years after they have been assigned.

Do HPE Knowledge Club points expire?

If you have an <a href="https://www.rewardbooth.com/hpeknowledgeclubus/ui/home" target="_blank" style="color:#000;text-decoration:underline #00B388;">HPE Knowledge Club account</a> and are not able to log in, ensure your User Name (email) and password are being entered correctly. Your User Name is the same email address where you receive your registration confirmations and points notification emails. Login values are caps sensitive. If you are still having trouble, you may need to reset your password.

Why can't I log in to my HPE Knowledge Club account?

Visit the HPE Knowledge Club rewards account page, click the "Reset your password" link, then follow the prompts.

How can I reset my password?

Check your junk/spam folder in case the email was routed here by mistake. If you still can’t find the message, <a href="https://education.hpe.com/ww/en/training/contactus.html" style="color:#000;text-decoration:underline #00B388;">contact the HPE Knowledge Club</a>.

I did not receive an email as expected. What should I do?

Points are only earned on qualifying, fee-based courses and are applied to your account the week after you complete a qualifying class.
